Al Bowman serves as the Director of Policy Development & Planning Services for the Pennsylvania House Republicans Caucus.
Before joining the House GOP in August of 2001, Al served in various capacities in state government including the PA Department of Agriculture, PA Department of Education and the Office of Gov. Tom Ridge. In all Al has nearly 15 years of public service experience.
As Director, Al works closely with House Republican members to develop and disseminate information on various GOP Caucus initiatives on a wide range of issues including health care, energy, transportation, education, economic and the state budget.
Previously, Al was involved in several other endeavors including managing a local small business and a local on-air radio personality in his hometown of York, PA.
Al holds both a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
He currently resides in Red Lion, Pennsylvania with his wife, Danille, and three children, Steven, Andrew and Alex.
